Well, 2012 is here and I feel like a mandatory what-a-great-year-it-has-been post is required. 2011 has certainly been a tumultuous year, a mad mash up of trips, family (and friend!) drama, university and the ever present serving job. However I am happy to say that I have incredible friends and family and I am excited that it's 2012, I have lots of things to accomplish and I am freer and more content than ever. On that note, I hope you all got what you wanted for Christmas because I definitely did.
The Amy Winehouse album is truly lovely, there is even an introduction by Mark Ronson which is surprisingly sincere.

Parisian Chic is everything I wanted it to be, filled with great pictures and witty advice. I especially like her advice about throwing a dinner party. I dream of living in Paris and getting home after a day of work and throwing a dinner party for all my friends in my miniscule (but chic!) apartment, cooking up a delicious meal and laughing the night away with friends. Ah! One day. Okay, but I digress. The book is really a dream for someone like me who likes travel and fashion as much as I do.
As is the Lug Nap Sac.
I also am crazy about this tea tower from Teaopia. Three flavours in this black tower, which is also tres chic! My favourite is the black tea with peppercorns.
Overall, it was a great holiday full of delicious food and relaxing days.
But now it is time for New Year's Resolutions.
My New Years Resolution is (ugh, it sounds so cheesy) to be as true to myself as humanly possible and of course, as every year, to accumulate lots of new experiences. Hopefully only good ones this year!
