Dear readers, brace yourselves I think this is going to be a long one! I haven't done my regular blogging this week due to having to finish an essay, work, alcohol consumption with friends, bathing the dog and Christmas Present wrapping. Yikes. Today's first item concerns the family gathering I have on my mothers side each year. We play 'that game' that everyone plays, you know, the one where everyone brings a $5 gift and you, in true Christmas fashion, steal from each other. This year our theme is "something foreign" so I bought this bread and butter pudding. I love little novelty things like this and I love bread and butter pudding so I think I am going to try to get my own gift back.
I also found this pile of metro tickets and other assorted things from various trips, which I decided to use as wrapping paper.
I'm quite happy with the final product, although whoever unwraps it is going to be at it for a while. There is a lot of tape on there! Yes, that's totally a grocery slip in the back corner. But a foreign one!
And here is Larry having a cup of tea! He is a British dog at heart!
